Who we help?
Past members who have enjoyed Steps equipment have been diagnosed with: angelmans syndrome, autism, blindness, cerebral palsy, cognitive delay, deafness, developmental delay, downs syndrome, dyspraxia, epilepsy, fine or gross motor skills, hyper-mobility, microcephaly and rhetts syndrome. The actual condition is not important to us - we just concentrate on how we can help each & every child.

Membership Support Fund
We believe that no disabled child should be denied the magical, life-enhancing developmental benefits of play because of financial challenges ... and we have come up with a way of helping that most definitely doesn't involve lots of complicated form-filling and impertinent questions - The Membership Support Fund.
This is a fund for individuals that we have set up so that any parent, or carer of a child or youngster, needing our help is not put off by not being able to find Steps' subsidized membership fees.

Of course we would like to provide every child or youngster with free adapted toys and switches but the reality is, with funding so tight, we can only offer the free service to those who really could do with it. For parents and carers who can contribute - we ask you to do so.

If you are happy to contribute towards your toy library membership, please see our Membership page with options for Individuals, families and Organisation memberships.

If you would like your child or youngster to benefit from free membership of one of the largest adapted toy libraries in the country, please complete the application form to the right.
Hospices
The Membership Support Fund will also offer free memberships to Hospices. If you are a Hospice, please complete the Organisation Membership Application form.

As with the individual applications to the fund, once accepted your application will be for one years standard organisation membership.
