Who we help?
Past members who have enjoyed Steps equipment have been diagnosed with: angelmans syndrome, autism, blindness, cerebral palsy, cognitive delay, deafness, developmental delay, downs syndrome, dyspraxia, epilepsy, fine or gross motor skills, hyper-mobility, microcephaly and rhetts syndrome. The actual condition is not important to us - we just concentrate on how we can help each & every child.
Free and Subsidized Membership
Steps provides a free membership service to profoundly disabled children whose families or carers are experiencing financial difficulties, and a free service to Hospices. Please see the Membership Support Fund page.
For families, carers and organisations who can contribute to Steps' service provision, we run a variety of membership options - please see to the right. To give you an idea, the standard membership fee covers about 60% of the cost of the service and the rest we will continue to fund.
