MULTIFUNCTION

Using adaptation techniques designed by Steps, we are very pleased to be able to adapt multifunction toys for use with an external single action switch.

Inside the toy is a set of printed circuit boards designed by Steps. Each press of the switch will advance the toy by one function. So far, 37 functions have been brought under the control of the external switch.

By counting the switch presses, a bright child can select which function he or she wishes.

The toys usually have:

• Lights
• Music, singing and different tempos and music types
• Numbers
• Animal sounds
• Alphabet
• Shape recognition

These toys provide a great deal of fun, whilst the serious business of learning is taking place.

The toys are graded to provide stimulation for children, whatever their developmental age.
